History Of Kung Fu

Kung Fu means "Time and Effort."  It is a superior martial art derived from the famous Shao Lin Temple in China over 3,000 years ago.  It is the most popular and effective style of self-defense techniques, dominating the entire oriental martial arts field for the past several thousand years.  It is also an excellent exercise for both men and women of all ages for building a stringer body and mind.

There are many styles of Kung Fu.  The most popular style of Kung Fu is derived from the famous Shao Lin Temple in the Henan Province  of China.  Most styles can be classified  as either external or internal.  External styles of Kung Fu, in general, rely on muscular force; whereas, internal styles of Kung Fu reply on the mind to conquer the body, on softness to conquer hardness.
